Laal Deevarain is about the corrupt justice system in our society. This is an everyday occurrence in our lives; but now we have gotten so used to seeing this that we turn a blind eye towards it. Everyone feels that hopefully it is not going to happen to them. The sad part is that no one is ready to do anything about it. Laal Deevarain (Red Walls) is referring to the corridors of the so-called "Justice" halls that are now tainted with blood of the vulnerable, the week, the feeble, the unfortunate, the underprivileged and the bribery money. The system is deaf and can not hear the screams and does not feel the pain and the sufferings of the innocent. The favored, unjust and prejudiced decisions are made out of greed and voracity. I wrote, played and recorded this song in 1995. Vocals are by Yousuf Jamil. Yousuf's great strong voice has really enriched the song. Check out the lyrics and if they are still too abstract for you then get a friend to help you understand.
